BLOCKLEY SLATE
Inspired by the clean lines of modernist architecture, based on Blockley’s same slender, linear profile, BLOCKLEY SLATE is a new cutlery design in the Robert Welch collection. It features a tactile ‘stone like’ texture on the surface along the length of each handle and is available in a bright finish.
All pieces in this collection are made from best quality 3.5mm stainless steel, a slightly thinner gauge that give each piece a lighter feel in the hand. All patterns are sold at one price - as part of Collection 3.5.
The design concept for Blockley Slate was inspired by the natural textures of geological features: irregular seams, impressions, craggy rocks, and weathered stone, Blockley Slate interacts with light on the stainless steel to give a unique lustre.
As is expected of the Robert Welch cutlery collection, each piece has been created to be perfectly balanced and satisfying to hold and use, with no uncomfortable edges.
