Outline:
Robert Welch Designs is seeking a creative and skilled In-House Videographer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to produce high-quality video content that tells our brand story, promotes our products, and engages our audience across multiple platforms. From capturing social media reels to producing detailed "how-to" guides and seasonal promotional content, this role demands a versatile professional with a strong eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through video.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Content Creation

  • Plan, shoot, and edit engaging video content for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram Reels and Facebook).
  • Maintain and update the videos on our YouTube channel to ensure their relevance, consistently refresh the content, and keep it up to date.
    Bring ideas to life with imagination and the highest production standards across different platforms.
    Create "how-to" guides and product demonstration videos for the website and customer education.
    Produce seasonal and promotional video content, including holiday campaigns and new product launches.
    Develop video ads for online marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and drive conversions. These will vary from small ideas to more complex campaign content.

    Post-Production
  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, on-brand videos.
    Enhance videos with graphics, transitions, music, and sound effects.
    Maintain a consistent visual style and ensure brand guidelines are upheld across all video content.

    Project Management
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects.
    Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
    Stay updated on video production trends, tools, and techniques to maintain cutting-edge content.

    Equipment Management
  • Operate and maintain in-house video and audio equipment.
    Ensure all production tools are in excellent working condition and suggest upgrades or new purchases as needed.

  • Competency Requirements:
  • Proven experience in videography and video editing (please include a portfolio or examples of your work).
    Essential experience with video editing software such as, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for composing and motion graphics.
    Strong storytelling skills with the ability to create visually compelling content.
    Experience producing content for social media platforms, with a focus on short-form video.
    In-depth knowledge of video production techniques, including lighting, sound, and camera operation.
    Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to switch between projects quickly and meet deadlines.
    Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

    Desirable Skills:
    Basic graphic design skills for overlay creation (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
    Experience with motion graphics or animation.
    Familiarity with SEO principles for optimizing video content online.
